Total entries to date: 295
Maximum entries: 350

The continued success of the BJC Championships shows that there is a demand within the membership of the BJC for competitions where our members can test themselves along with the best in the country. At the same time, there is also a need for a ‘closed’ event; open to only the members of our Judo family so that we can compete and win amongst our peers and at the same time, have our contests accrue points towards eventual promotion. This event, the BJC Closed Championships 2019 is open to all BJC members and includes categories to allow for as wide a range of age, grade and weights as possible.Closing date for entries is the 13th November at 12.00 midday.

We would like to introduce you to the newly developed BJC Kata Open Tournament

This Kata Tournament is open to all levels and to BJC/BJA/AJA & other overseas IJF recognised organisations and will be run at 2pm Saturday 16th November. You will notice that this is the afternoon before the BJC Closed Nationals Championships. We have combined the two competitions so the kata tournament benefits from the great venue in Kettering and it also gives those already in Kettering for the closed Nationals a chance to compete whilst booking/weighing in.
Highlights:
New improved venue
National platform
National judges
Opportunity to weigh in for the closed nationals at the same time .

Full details of the Kata Tournament can be found at www.bjcjudokata.co.uk
